Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift is an American country and pop singer/songwriter. The songs of Taylor Swift tell the story of heartbreak and loss for a young girl. Swift developed an interest for music as a child and quickly progressed from playing in kids' shows, and then making her first public appearance public. Swift began to compose songs when she was 11. Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner for a Philadelphia 76ers game. Drawing inspiration from musicians from the country genre like Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original songs that were a reflection of her own experiences of being a tween and feeling alienated. At the age of 13, Swift's parents decided to sell their property in Pennsylvania and moved to Hendersonville Tennessee so she could dedicate more time to courting country labels near Nashville.
